Eesti Maastikuarhitektuuri Üliõpilaste Selts

Nädalavahetusel külastasime Tallinnat ja üheks peatuspaigaks oli Eesti Kunstiakadeemia. Meid võttis vastu arhitektuuri ja linnaplaneerimise osakonna juhataja Andres Ojari, kes tutvustas meile EKA maja ning rääkis meile pisut nende tudengite õppetööst. Oli vahva näha, kuidas teises ülikoolis õpitakse ja oli väga inspireeriv kogemus.

Nädalavahetusel külastasime ka +Arhitekte, kus meid võttis soojalt vastu arhitekt Rebecca Pütsep, kes tegeleb firmas ainsana ka maastiku kujundamisega. Meile tutvustati nende kontorit ning saime hea ülevaate nende tehtud projektidest. Oli põnev kuulda, kuidas arhitektid käsitlevad oma projektides maastikuarhitektuuri ning näha reaalselt valminud projekte.

Käisime Eesti Arhitektuurikeskuse korraldatud Linnahalli ekskursioonil.

Tallinna Linnahalli projekteeris Raine Karp koos Riina Altmäe ja Ülo Sirbiga 1976. aastal. Tegemist on ühe silmapaistvaima näitega Eesti nõukogudeaegsest arhitektuurist Tallinnas. Kahjuks suleti see võimas hoone 2009. aastal.
