EMÜSi seekordsed talvepäevad viisid meid avastama Lõuna- ja Edela-Eestit. 17 seltsilisega asusime 7. jaanuari hommikul Pärnu poole teele, peatudes uudistamiseks auhinnatud maastikuarhitektuuriobjektide juures – Elva linnakeskuses, Kääriku uues spordikompleksis ning Tõrva keskväljakul. Pärnus tutvusime Iseseisvuse väljakuga ning tegime pika jalutuskäigu mööda mereäärt.

Seejärel suundusime ööbimiskohta Pikla linnumajja, kus võtsid meid vastu kaunis maja mere ääres, tore pererahvas ning kümned hobused. Järgnenud päeval tegime lühikese matka Pikla ümbruses ning sõitsime Viljandisse, kus tutvusime riigigümnaasiumi väliruumiga, Lossimägede ja Viljandi vanalinnaga.
